The Bunnicula Reading Comprehension Guide contains over 55 pages of paintable reading comprehension worksheets including several vocabulary and reading comprehension questions for each chapter. There are two styles of worksheets for every chapter with several vocabulary and comprehension questions. The “workbook⌄” style contains blanks for student answers and the “guide⌄” style is more compact without blanks. Additional blank multi-use worksheets are provided along with identical answer keys. The Key Questions worksheet provides 10 questions for the entire book along with an answer key.
About the bookBunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery is a much loved classical children’s novel chronicling the tails of the Monroe family and their pets. The book is narrated by Harold the family Dog and tells the story of Harold’s attempt to prove that the family’s newly adopted bunny, Bunnicula, is a vampire rabbit sucking the family vegetables dry.
Harold recruits Chester the cat to help him catch Bunnicula in the act. When things don’t go as planned humorous events ensue which have entertained decades of young readers since its first publishing in 1979.
Bunnicula was written by Deborah & James Howe and has won numerous awards including 10 Reader’s Choice awards, a Nene Award, and a Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Award.
